Alex Searl

First Alert Meteorologist

Alex Searl is the weekend meteorologist at KSWO.

He joined the First Alert Weather Team as a fellowship student from University of Oklahoma in January of 2023. He then signed on full-time after finishing his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology that May.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Alex's passion for weather started at a young age (snow storms!). The passion grew over the years when he started following all types of weather including tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, and of course his favorite, winter weather.

When Alex is not at work, you will more than likely find him golfing every chance he gets. He also has big interests in many different sports including the NFL, NBA, college football, college basketball, and of course, golf!

Alex is looking forward to the challenge and craziness that Oklahoma weather brings.
