Johnathan is an Investigative Reporter at KSWO. He has worked at KSWO in the past in a few different positions, including Floor Director, Photographer, and Marketing Producer. Johnathan was born in Ft. Belvoir, VA, but moved around with his family in his earlier years due to his parents being military. His family was stationed in Germany, but moved back to Texas by the time he was 4 years old. His family moved to Lawton just before his 11th birthday. Since then, Johnathan has been a proud Lawtonian, having graduate in 2002 from LHS and from Cameron University with a B.S. of Multimedia Design in 2009. He has also been a local business owner, worked as a Web Designer for an education institution, and a radio DJ all here in Lawton.

Life could use a soundtrack and the 77th Army Band absolutely has a history of providing that for Fort Sill. Being around since Fort Sill was a cavalry post, the history of the band reaches back at least seven decades. Originally labeled the 308th band, it got its current name in nineteen-forty-three. Martin Johnston is the band's commander and says they have a specific purpose.

Art is meant to spark your interests, especially if its cut and welded together. Artist, Steve Southerland, has been creating metal art for most of his life, having brazened his first piece when he was about nine years old. This Friday, he has a piece in the Arts for All Gala for auction. Steve creates all sizes of metal art, with some weighing as much as two-thousand pounds or more, but approaching them all similarly.

An exterminator truck was outside Elm Terrace Apartments today, a sign of hopefully more things to come after learning about their conditions last week. The temporary apartment manager was still not in the office when 7News showed up, but a note on the door said he was visiting apartments with the exterminator.

The Animal Birth Control Clinic, or ABC, may be closing after serving Lawton for thirty-five years, according to it's founder, Deloris Delluomo. Previously, the clinic would offset most costs by use of grants, but they haven't applied for any within the last year, believing they had more available funding in the bank. It was only within the last two weeks their accountant determined, somehow, they were almost out of funds.

He passed on August twenty third of this year. Airman Ronnie Haynes joined the Air Force when he was just twenty one years old in April of of nineteen seventy six. While it's unknown if he has any immediate family, he certainly wasn't layed to rest without the company of fellow veterans. Members of the Patriot Guard Riders and the Combat Vets groups, along with some active duty soldiers, attended the service to pay honor to an unclaimed comrade.
